Curren RV Sales is Hiring a Small Engine Technician (ATVs, Side-by-sides, Mowers) Near Pine, NY
Curren RV, a fast growing, family owned and operated RV dealer in Pine City, NY, has open for a full time Small Engine Tech. We are looking for someone hard working with good attention to detail. The Small Engine Tech is responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, assembly, and installs on a variety of ATVs, Side-by-sides, mowers, and hand held equipment. Experience with trailers (axles, brakes, wiring), or RV appliances and systems a plus. Attention to detail is a must.
Essential Duties:
- Troubleshoot problems
- Uncrate and assemble products to manufacturer's specs
- Use OEM parts breakdowns and maintenance guides
- Repair ATVs, Side-by-sides, Lawn Mowers, Chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, and other small engines
- Perform regular maintenance
- Perform Quality Control Checks
- Clean the interior and exterior of RVs, ATVs, and Mowers
- Repaint frames, steps, and jacks
- Apply decals
- Unload and assembly of trailers
- Assist other technicians with repairs
- Document jobs, parts used, and warranty data
- Experience with automotive repair, RV appliances and systems, or trailer repairs a plus
- Other tasks as assigned
Skill Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High School diploma or equivalent or still enrolled
- Attention to detail
- Ability to take direction and work with limited supervision
- Prefer someone with electrical, appliance, or small engine experience
